CIP Brazil Licenses Workpoint

CAMARA INTERBANCARIA DE PAGAMENTOS TO USE PLANET GROUP, INC. SOFTWARE TO ENABLE ELECTRONIC BILL PAYMENT AND PRESENTMENT

Brazilian Consumers to Benefit from Proven Solutions for Electronic Payments

(OMAHA, Neb—November 10, 2008) — Planet Group, Inc., (Planet) a leading provider of IT consulting, payment-enabling technologies and transaction processing services, today announced that Brazil's interbank funds transfer system, Camara Interbancaria de Pagamentos, (CIP) has licensed Planet's CORE360 and Workpoint™ to enable electronic bill payment and presentment. CIP will ultimately invest BRL $77 million in a project that will offer Brazilian consumers comprehensive online banking services. Due to the size and scope of the overall project, CIP chose TIVIT, the leading IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) services provider in Latin America, as its primary outsourcing partner. Planet will provide its services and technology directly to TIVIT.

CORE360 is a comprehensive electronic correspondence software suite. With CORE360, Brazilian consumers will now have the ability to pay and receive bills electronically. In 2007, more than 374,000 trees were used to print bills in Brazil; this number is expected to decrease with the use of Planet's solutions. More than 100 Brazilian banks will use CORE360 to offer customers a wide range of electronic correspondence, including digital invoices, bills and statements, as well as event-driven alerts and notices, such as balance alerts, payment-due notifications, upcoming payment notifications and trade confirmations. Workpoint, a comprehensive business process management (BPM) solution, will provide the high volume, high throughput workflow that enables the automation of the previously manual, time-consuming processing tasks.

"CIP needed highly scalable as well as commercially proven solutions," said Mark Spurgeon, Chief Operating Officer at Planet Group, Inc. "The CORE360 and Workpoint frameworks have a track record of delivering on both of these requirements. Not only will these solutions provide convenience and security for consumers, but they will also benefit banks by enabling them to lower their cost-per-transaction base and gain better efficiencies in their existing payment systems and processes. These are just a few reasons why our solutions were selected over the 27 worldwide vendors who competed for this project."

"We are extremely pleased to partner with Planet," said Armando Netto, Business Director at TIVIT. "We believe that their proven solutions and ability to deliver on an international scale has paved the way for a successful and long-term partnership."

CORE360 and Workpoint will integrate with CIP's existing systems and services to provide the critical infrastructure needed to deploy the required functionality. The project is set to go live in October, 2009.
